This Cookie Policy explains how Lumivo LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on CapyCue websites and applications.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software-development-kit identifiers. They can remember a session, protect an account, save preferences, and help measure product performance.
2. How CapyCue uses them
- Strictly necessary: authentication, Lumivo Passport sign-in, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, consent state, and core application operation.
- Preferences: interface choices, recording setup, workspace selection, and other settings you ask us to remember.
- Performance and analytics: aggregated or pseudonymous information about page performance, feature adoption, errors, and navigation so we can improve CapyCue.
- Embedded content: a CapyCue player may store necessary state and measure playback events such as views, step selections, and completion. The site embedding a walkthrough may use its own cookies under its own policy.
3. Advertising
CapyCue does not currently use Customer Content for third-party targeted advertising. If we introduce advertising cookies or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will update this policy and provide legally required consent or opt-out controls before using them.
4. Your choices
You can control many cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in, recording recovery, billing, or other features from working. Where a consent manager is presented, you can use it to change optional-cookie choices. Privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control will be honored where legally required and technically applicable.
5. Current inventory
Before production launch, CapyCue will maintain a vendor and cookie inventory identifying the cookie name, provider, purpose, category, and duration. The inventory must be updated whenever authentication, analytics, support, payments, embeds, or marketing tools change.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy may be sent to support@capycue.com.
